At Smilez Dispensary, we are proud to serve the people of Durand and the surrounding areas with a carefully curated selection of cannabis products designed to meet a wide range of needs. Whether you are a longtime resident or just passing through, we want your experience with us to feel welcoming, informative, and worth coming back for. Cannabis is not just a product to us. It is a science-backed solution that interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system to support health and happiness, and we are passionate about helping people in Durand discover that for themselves.
Michigan’s legal cannabis market has experienced significant growth since adult-use sales began in December 2019, with billions of dollars in annual sales reported statewide. Communities like Durand benefit from the economic activity and job creation that dispensaries bring, and we take that responsibility seriously. We strive to be a positive presence in the area, contributing not only through commerce but through genuine care for the people we serve every single day.
Education at the Heart of Everything We Do
Education is still at the forefront of our mission. We believe that informed consumers make better choices, and we are dedicated to providing resources and information to help you understand how cannabis can work for you. When you walk into Smilez Dispensary, you will find a team of passionate experts who take the time to explain product differences, consumption methods, cannabinoid profiles, and terpene effects. We do not rush anyone through the process. Whether you are exploring cannabis for the first time or you are an experienced consumer looking to try something new, we want you to leave feeling confident in your purchase.
We give honest opinions about our products. It is up to the consumer to try different things, and we encourage that spirit of exploration. Every person’s endocannabinoid system responds differently to various cannabinoids and delivery methods, so what works perfectly for one customer might not be the ideal fit for another. Our staff helps guide that journey with transparency, answering questions about THC and CBD ratios, onset times for edibles versus inhalation, and the nuances between indica-dominant and sativa-dominant strains. For Durand residents, having access to this level of personalized guidance close to home makes all the difference.
A Curated Selection You Can Trust
Quality remains a top priority at Smilez Dispensary. We are proud to offer a curated selection of cannabis products that meet rigorous standards for purity, potency, and effectiveness. Every item on our shelves has been evaluated and selected with care. From premium flower and concentrates to edibles, tinctures, topicals, and pre-rolls, our inventory reflects the diversity of needs within the Durand community and beyond. We work with trusted cultivators and manufacturers who share our commitment to excellence, ensuring that lab-tested and compliant products are the only options available to our customers.
Our product selection process involves reviewing lab results for contaminants, verifying accurate cannabinoid and terpene labeling, and assessing overall product quality before anything reaches the shelf. Here are some of the key product categories we proudly carry:
- Flower available in a variety of strains ranging from relaxing indicas to energizing sativas and balanced hybrids
- Edibles including gummies, chocolates, and beverages with clearly labeled dosing for controlled consumption
- Concentrates such as wax, shatter, and live resin for experienced users seeking potent effects
- Tinctures and capsules offering discreet and precise dosing for those who prefer non-inhalation methods
- Topicals designed for localized relief without psychoactive effects
- Pre-rolls providing convenience and consistency for on-the-go enjoyment
